Pierce County Auditor since 2022, running elections for nearly 600,000 registered voters and overseeing recording, licensing and passport services on a 28 million dollar biennial budget, per the county's official auditor page. She holds the Certified Elections Registration Administrator credential, described on that page as the highest professional achievement for election officials in the country. Before taking office she worked for the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services, Comcast, Pacific Lutheran University and the cities of Tacoma and Federal Way, started out as a newspaper reporter and editor, and served on the Lakewood City Council, per the same page.

Damon Townsend

Pierce County Elections Supervisor from 2014 to 2019 and interim elections manager in Clallam and Cowlitz counties during the 2020 presidential election, per his campaign site. He now works as a network operations supervisor at Lightcurve and describes two decades managing telecommunications, data networking, incident response and around-the-clock critical systems, per the same site, where he argues the auditor's job is fundamentally an operations role.
