Salman Bhojani is the Democratic incumbent for Texas House District 92 in Tarrant County. Born in Pakistan, he immigrated to Texas as a teenager and became a naturalized citizen; he is the first Muslim and first South Asian elected to the Texas Legislature, according to his official biography. Before his legislative career he was a business owner and attorney and served as a Euless City Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem, and he holds degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas, Southern Methodist University, and Oxford University.
