Junior Ezeonu serves as Mayor Pro Tem of the Grand Prairie City Council, having been elected to the council in 2021 at age 22, according to his campaign website. Born in Onitsha, Nigeria, and raised in Texas from age 2, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington. Ezeonu is the Democratic nominee for Texas House District 101, running unopposed in the November general election.
