Ce-Ce Gerlach (Democratic), Robert E. Smith Jr. (Republican) meet on the November 3 ballot. The seat is open: Rep. Ana Tiburcio (Democratic), the sitting member per the General Assembly's roster, is not on the November ballot. Ce-Ce Gerlach won the Democratic primary with 56.7 percent over Ana Tiburcio (43.3 percent). Robert E. Smith Jr. was unopposed in the Republican primary. Pennsylvania nominates by plurality (no runoffs); unopposed nominees still print.
