Scotty Stokes (Republican), Andrea Biscardi (Democratic) meet on the November 3 ballot. No candidate reached a majority in the June 16 Republican primary (Scotty Stokes 42.57 percent, Crystal Campbell (33.5 percent), Debbie Long (23.93 percent)); Scotty Stokes won the August 25 runoff with 51.1 percent over Crystal Campbell. Oklahoma nominates by June primary with an August runoff when no candidate reaches a majority; unopposed nominees still print, and independents qualify by filing.
