Kinsley Jordan (Republican) is the only candidate on the November 3 ballot. Kinsley Jordan won the June 16 Republican primary with 52.39 percent over Torry Turnbow (47.61 percent). Kinsley Jordan is a retired U.S. Air Force officer who graduated from the Air Force Academy and moved to Enid in 2008 when he was stationed at Vance Air Force Base, per the Enid News & Eagle. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan before retiring from the Air Force in 2023 and remains a member of the Air Force Reserve and a Christian pastor. Jordan is unopposed for the open District 40 seat.
