Michael A. Brittingham (Republican) is the only candidate on the November 3 ballot. No candidate reached a majority in the June 16 Republican primary (Michael A. Brittingham 49.1 percent, Anthony Devore (25.74 percent), Derek Porter (25.16 percent)); Michael A. Brittingham won the August 25 runoff with 63.24 percent over Anthony Devore. Oklahoma nominates by June primary with an August runoff when no candidate reaches a majority; unopposed nominees still print, and independents qualify by filing. The field is the State Election Board's 2026 candidate list with the June 16 and August 25 official results and the Board's withdrawals list (read September 7, 2026). Michael Brittingham is a former Pushmataha County commissioner who served 15 years on the commission, including 12 as board chairman, before retiring in February 2026 to run for House District 19, per his campaign site and NonDoc.
