City of Kannapolis Parks and Recreation Bonds Referendum is a ballot question for a local jurisdiction in Rowan County on the November 3, 2026 ballot. SHALL the order authorizing $40,000,000 of bonds plus interest to provide funds to pay the capital costs of acquiring, constructing, renovating and improving parks and recreation facilities, including athletic fields, parks, playgrounds, greenways, and open space, and providing that additional taxes may be levied in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds, be approved? Voters within the City of Kannapolis, including the portion of Kannapolis that lies in Rowan County, decide whether the city may borrow $40 million in bonds for parks and recreation facilities.
