Bible's 37.69 percent (5,116 votes), per the Christian County Clerk's official (unofficial-on-election-night) Election Summary Report. No Democrat, Libertarian or independent filed for the seat, and the Springfield Daily Citizen reported Taylor 'will face no opposition in November.' Outgoing Presiding Commissioner Lynn Morris did not seek reelection.
