At 94 percent counted the Associated Press had Djuna Elizabeth Perkins at 29.62 percent and Adam W. Deitch at 26.47, with Gregory P. Connor 14.8, Macy Lee 12.3, Robert Louis Jubinville 8.3, Jim Barakat 6.8 and Craig J. MacLellan 2.2; by Wednesday morning Perkins led Deitch by roughly 2,600 votes, per the Boston Globe and Brookline.News. Neither claimed victory election night, so both are still listed. The margin is about 3 points, outside the 0.5 percent districtwide recount threshold. The nominee faces independent Joe Pagliarulo in November, per WBZ-TV and the Boston Globe.
