Angela Evans is an attorney who was sworn in as Fayette County Attorney in 2022, becoming the first African American county attorney in Kentucky, per the office's official website. She has more than two decades of legal experience, including as a public defender, holds degrees from Clark Atlanta University, the University of Tennessee and Princeton University, and previously served three terms on the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council.
