Pete Coolidge spent 28 years with the DuPage County Sheriff's Office, from 1996 until his retirement in February 2024, working in all three of its bureaus: Corrections, Law Enforcement and Courthouse Administration, per his campaign site. Per the same site, he served on the Emergency Response Team in Corrections, worked as a juvenile officer in Law Enforcement with FEMA emergency-response certifications and rapid-response training with local high schools, screened and responded to warrant arrests at the courthouse, and was named Deputy of the Month several times and Deputy of the Year once. He appears on the November 3, 2026 ballot for DuPage County Sheriff, per the county elections office's certified candidate list.

Sean Noonan has spent 23 years in law enforcement, including as a supervisor, and served eight years as an elected DuPage County Board member, per Sean Noonan campaign site.
