Athens-Clarke County FLOST is a ballot question for a local jurisdiction in Clarke County on the November 3, 2026 ballot. Shall a special one percent (1%) Floating Local Option Sales Tax (FLOST) be imposed within the special district consisting of the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, the City of Winterville, and the Town of Bogart for a period of five years, with proceeds used exclusively to reduce property taxes levied by those governments? Creates a new 1% sales tax (FLOST) for five years in Athens-Clarke County, Winterville and Bogart, with the revenue used to lower property tax rates in those governments; per the Athens-Clarke County elections office and WUGA.
