SPECIAL ELECTION for the unexpired term through 2028 of the seat Adelita Grijalva resigned to run for Congress. Pima has not yet posted its certified general candidate list; the Republican line depends on certification of a primary write-in nomination and this field will be re-verified when the county posts it. Pima voters also decide Proposition 425, a 70 million dollar permanent base adjustment to the county spending limit, and Proposition 430, a 250 million dollar community college bond.

Andrés Cano was appointed to the District 5 seat in April 2025 and is a former Arizona House minority leader with a Harvard Kennedy School master's in public administration, per his official county biography page. He was unopposed in the July primary.
