Biography
Yudelka Tapia is serving her second term in the New York State Assembly, representing District 86 in the Bronx. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she immigrated to the West Bronx over 30 years ago, where she raised her four sons. Tapia has a background as a community organizer, union leader, and Senior Auditor for the New York City Comptroller’s Office.
