Biography
Yolanda Cooper-Sutton is a non-partisan member of the Memphis City Council, representing Super District 8 Position 3 since January 2024. A Memphis resident for over 27 years, she is a certified Healthcare Advocate with a background in community healthcare. Cooper-Sutton chairs the Libraries and Neighborhood Improvement Committee and is Vice Chair of the Public Services, Arts, and Youth Initiatives Committee, focusing on community betterment and addressing local issues.
