Biography
Walt Smith, a Republican, serves as Hays County Commissioner for Precinct 4, representing Dripping Springs, Driftwood, and portions of Buda, Texas. First elected in 2018, he was re-elected in 2022. Smith is also the founder and president of The Mallard Group, where he works to develop non-profit associations.
