Vernetta Alston

Vernetta Alston (Democratic Party) is a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 29, having assumed office on April 13, 2020. She holds a B.A. in political science from North Carolina State University and a J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has professional experience as a staff attorney for North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services and the Center for Death Penalty Litigation.
