Venkat Mechineni is a first-time candidate for Sacramento City Council, District 1, and has resided in Natomas for 20 years. He is a software engineer with over 25 years of experience in Information Technology and holds an MBA. Mechineni has been actively involved in the Sacramento community, serving as president of several Indian associations and as a member of the Disability Advisory Committee in FI$Cal and the North Natomas Community Coalition.
