Biography

Tron Faulk Ross was appointed by Governor Josh Stein as a District Court Judge for District 29, covering Hoke and Moore counties, in April 2025, per The Pilot. She previously served as an associate county attorney for Moore County and worked as an attorney for the Lee County Department of Social Services. Ross received her bachelor's degree from UNC Charlotte and her law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, and has been a licensed attorney since 1998, per her campaign site.
