Biography
Tom Craddick was first elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 1968, representing District 82. He made state history in 2003 when he became the first Republican Speaker of the House in over 130 years, serving until 2009. He currently serves as Chairman of the House Transportation Committee and is a leader on energy and economic development issues.
