He is the Democratic nominee for auditor of accounts in the open race created by Doug Hoffer's decision not to seek re-election, winning the August 11 primary with 74.88 percent of votes cast over Nicholas Graeter (12.55) and Dan Towle (12.01). Results are unofficial until the August 18 canvass.
