Biography
Terri A. Sewell is a Democratic U.S. Representative for Alabama's 7th Congressional District, serving since 2011. In her eighth term, she was one of the first women elected to Congress from Alabama in her own right and the first Black woman to serve in the Alabama Congressional delegation. She currently sits on the House Ways and Means Committee and the Committee on House Administration.
