William Theodore Alexander III (born August 14, 1960), known as Ted Alexander, is an American Republican politician currently serving as a member of the North Carolina State Senate for the 44th district. He previously served as mayor of Shelby, North Carolina, and as chair of the Cleveland County Republican Party.
