Biography
Taras Shevchenko is a development director at the Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law and an expert in legal reforms, media, and European integration. He served as Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine from 2020 to 2024, leading the European integration department and overseeing information security initiatives. Shevchenko has over 25 years of experience in law and public administration, co-authoring key media laws in Ukraine and working as an international expert on media legislation.
