Biography
Susan L. Valdes, born in New York City and raised in Florida, is a first-generation child of Cuban immigrants. She served on the Hillsborough County School Board from 2004 to 2018 before being elected to the Florida House of Representatives, initially representing District 62 and currently District 64. Valdes, who switched to the Republican party in December 2024, previously worked as a health practice administrator.
