Biography
Susan Collins is Maine's sitting U.S. senator, per the campaign site. Her parents, Don and Patricia, both served as mayor of her hometown of Caribou, per the campaign site. The campaign site says she is Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, the first Maine senator in nearly 100 years to hold that post, and the author of the bipartisan Paycheck Protection Program.
