Biography
STEVEN COMMANDER USN, (RET) WENDELIN is the Democratic nominee for U.S. House West Virginia District 2. A retired Navy Commander and combat veteran, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy at age 18 and retired in August 2023 after nearly 39 years of service, including teaching ethics at the U.S. Naval Academy. Wendelin has been a West Virginia resident since 2018.
