Biography
Steve Stockman is a Republican who served as a U.S. Representative for Texas's 9th congressional district from 1995 to 1997 and for Texas's 36th congressional district from 2013 to 2015. In 2018, he was convicted on felony charges related to money laundering and misuse of charitable contributions, receiving a 10-year prison sentence which was later commuted by President Donald Trump in 2020.
