Biography
Shlomo S. Hagler is the current Presiding Justice of the Appellate Term, First Department, a position he has held since 2021. He previously served as a New York Supreme Court Justice, elected in 2012, and held judicial roles in the New York City Housing Court and Civil Court. Hagler was designated an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court in 2008, where he established an "Innovative Guardianship Part."
