Sherry Honkala

Cheri Honkala is a nationally and internationally recognized anti-poverty and human rights advocate, dedicated to creating a movement led by the poor. She has organized numerous protests and demonstrations, leading to over 200 arrests for civil disobedience. Honkala has run for office as a Green Party candidate, notably for Sheriff of Philadelphia on a "No Evictions" platform and as the party's Vice Presidential nominee in 2012.
