Sherrod Brown is a Democratic politician from Ohio, born November 9, 1952. He served 48 years in public office, including as U.S. Senator (2007-2025), U.S. Representative (1993-2007), Ohio Secretary of State (1983-1991), and Ohio State Representative (1975-1982). Brown, who graduated from Yale and Ohio State, was elected as Ohio's youngest state representative at age 21.
