Biography
Shawn Cerra, a resident of Coral Springs since 1993, was re-elected City Commissioner for Seat 2 in November 2022, having first been elected in June 2019. He previously served as Vice Mayor from December 2022 to December 2024. Cerra also served as Principal of J.P. Taravella High School for 14 years before becoming Director of Athletics and Student Activities for the School Board of Broward County.
