Biography
Shannon Leigh Taylor is an American attorney and Democratic politician who has served as the Commonwealth's Attorney for Henrico County, Virginia, since 2012. A graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Richmond School of Law, she was first elected to her current role in 2011 and has been reelected multiple times. Taylor has also sought higher office, including a run for Attorney General of Virginia in 2025 and a congressional bid in 2026.
