Biography
Sara Sooy is a Democratic candidate who has served as a Somerset County Commissioner since January 2019, following her tenure on the Somerset Hills School District Board of Education. With a background in commercial real estate and an MBA, Sooy decided to run for Congress, motivated by concerns over the Gateway Tunnel project and its impact on family economic livelihood. She is a lifelong resident of Somerset County.
