Biography
Samy El-Baroudi is a third-generation educator and union leader from Des Moines, Iowa, with over 30 years of experience in Des Moines Public Schools. He is a Democratic Party candidate currently running for election to the Iowa State Senate to represent District 17. El-Baroudi is also a community volunteer and a founding member of the Heart of Des Moines Democrats.
