Biography
Sam Sachs is a candidate for Portland City Council District 2 with a background in both the private and public sectors, including service in the U.S. Army. He earned a bachelor's degree from Portland State University and has worked as a security professional, park ranger, and juvenile group life coordinator. Sachs is also the founder of The No Hate Zone, a nonprofit focused on ending hate and racism, and has served as a Human Rights Commissioner for the City of Portland.
