Biography
Sam Bregman is the current Bernalillo County District Attorney, a role he was appointed to in 2023 and subsequently won election for in 2024. He previously served on the Albuquerque City Council in the 1990s and held various public and private sector positions. Bregman is running as a Democratic candidate for New Mexico Governor in the 2026 primary election.
