Biography
Rocky Thigpen is a retired Sergeant with the Texas Department of Public Safety and a business leader, currently serving as Vice President of Overseas Hardwoods Company. A lifelong East Texan, Thigpen previously served as a Lufkin City Council member and on the Angelina County Commissioners Court. He is running for the Texas House of Representatives in House District 9, having won the Republican primary for the November 2026 general election ballot.
