Biography
Robert "Rob" J. Menendez Jr., born July 12, 1985, is a Democratic U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 8th Congressional District since January 3, 2023. The son of U.S. Senator Bob Menendez, he was born and raised in Hudson County, NJ, and holds a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill and a JD from Rutgers Law. Prior to his congressional service, Menendez Jr. was a Port Authority of NY/NJ Commissioner from 2021 to 2023.
