Biography
Robert C. Scott, a Democrat, has represented Virginia's 3rd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1993. He previously served in the Virginia House of Delegates and Senate. Congressman Scott is the Ranking Member of the Committee on Education and Workforce and also serves on the Committee on the Budget, where he is a leading voice on fiscal policy and criminal justice reform.
