Biography
Ritchie Torres is the Democratic U.S. Representative for New York's 15th Congressional District, serving since January 2021. Prior to this, he served on the New York City Council from 2014 to 2020, where he chaired the Public Housing Committee. A Bronx native, Torres became NYC's youngest elected official at age 25 and is the first openly gay Black-Latino member of Congress.
