Biography
Richard Boykin was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and raised in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. He is a Democratic candidate for Illinois' 7th Congressional District, having previously served as a Cook County Commissioner for the 1st District from 2014 to 2018. Boykin also worked as chief of staff and legislative director to U.S. Rep. Danny K. Davis and is the founder of Bridge Builders Consulting & Legal Services, LLC.
