She ran in the December 2025 special election for Iowa House District 7 and is running again in 2026 against Rep. Wendy Larson. No campaign website or questionnaire response was found as of September 11, 2026; the Secretary of State's certified candidate list is the only verifiable source for Rachel Burns.
