Pete Rusek

Pete Rusek is a Waco attorney and former shareholder at the law firm Sheehy, Lovelace and Mayfield who was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the 74th Judicial District Court in McLennan County in September 2025, per KWTX and the Waco Tribune-Herald. He served on the Midway ISD school board since 1996, as its president since 2004, per KWTX.
