Biography
Paul Dans is a Republican lawyer and political operative who briefly ran in the 2026 U.S. Senate election in South Carolina, challenging Sen. Lindsey Graham in the primary before dropping out. A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and MIT, Dans served in the Trump administration in various roles, including Chief of Staff at OPM and Senior Advisor at HUD. He also directed the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025, described as a blueprint for a conservative presidential transition.
