Biography
Paul A. Young, a lifelong Memphian, was sworn in as Mayor of Memphis, Tennessee, on January 1, 2024. Prior to his election, he served as President and CEO of the Downtown Memphis Commission and Director of Housing and Community Development for the City of Memphis, focusing on improving quality of life, housing security, and neighborhood development. He campaigned on a vision for a stronger, safer, and thriving community for all residents.
