Biography
Patrick Schmidt is a former U.S. Navy Intelligence Officer who served on the USS Ronald Reagan and recently transitioned to the Naval Reserve, returning to Kansas. A Tufts University graduate, he entered politics motivated by the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack to counter authoritarianism. He currently serves as the Kansas State Senator for District 19.
