Biography
Paige Cognetti is the current Mayor of Scranton, Pennsylvania, first elected as an Independent in 2019 and re-elected as a Democrat in 2021. She previously worked with the Pennsylvania Auditor General and on the Scranton School Board, focusing on government reform and accountability. Cognetti is now running for the U.S. House to represent Pennsylvania's 8th Congressional District in 2026.
