Biography
Schultz is a former Deputy Attorney General in the California Department of Justice Special Prosecutions Section and a former Deputy District Attorney in Oregon, per the campaign site. Per the campaign site, Schultz served on the Burbank City Council as mayor and councilmember, was elected to the Assembly in November 2024, chairs the Assembly Public Safety Committee, and holds bachelor's and law degrees from the University of Oregon.
